The Fellowship publishes an annual newsletter under this title each November. This is circulated free of charge to members and enquirers. It gives a brief report on the FCP to date. It also includes a Register of FCP contacts and details of Fellowship retreats etc. for the coming year. This is an occasional journal published from time to time as circumstances allow. Its intention is to provide a resource for contemplative prayer by way of articles, extracts from various sources and including excerpts (with commentaries) from the works of the founder of the FCP. Living
word is an occasional journal published by The Fellowship of Contemplative
Prayer. It is intended as a resource for individuals and groups who are drawn
to follow the contemplative way in daily life. The compiling and editing is
under the general direction of the Council of the FCP.
The material does not, in general, age and thus can be relevant at all times.
To provide an example of Living Word content the FCP Web Site contains some of the articles and material from Issue No. 5, Issue No. 6, Issue No. 7, Issue No. 8 and Issue No. 9 which can be found by following the links and which provide and Indexes to the available material.
The editor would be pleased to receive comments from readers and suggestions for material to be included in future editions.

More than just a biography of the founder of the Fellowship, this book incorporates a history of the FCP from its beginnings. The first edition was published during Robert Coulson’s lifetime in 1988. However, he lived for a further seven years; and the Fellowship that he founded has moved on since the nineteen-eighties.
This new edition has corrected some minor errors in the previous book and the author has brought it fully up to date. Many new pictures have been included and a complete index is provided. The new cover is designed by Lionel Binnie, Robert Coulson’s grandson, and his daughters Carol Binnie and Jill Combermere have written a new Foreword.
The FCP has published the book and a limited number of copies (spiral-bound in A4 format) have been printed. A copy may be obtained by writing to the Distribution Secretary enclosing a cheque for £20 made out to FCP.
The book is also obtainable in PDF format for a donation of (contact the Distribution Secretary for the amount). You will be sent a link to enable you do download the book from the FCP Website. The PDF version of this publication has a file size of approximately 3MBytes.
